Last weekend, I documented my first Bat Mitzvah... and I loved it.
I am a huge fan of celebrations... of taking time to honour someone for whom we care deeply.
Our children, are a reflection of who we are, of the love we offer, and they remind us everyday of what is truly important.
To honour them with a celebration with their closest friends and family... is precious.
Lauren is growing up. She is a beautiful young woman. Polite, grateful, joyful, sincere, giving, smart (her advanced math skills are keeping her parents busy)... and on saturday all of Lauren's family and friends came together at Centro to celebrate this time in her life as she transitions from a child to an adult.
I am so excited to witness this lovely lady as she continues on her life journey.
Lauren, congratulations on who you are today... and who you are becoming.

Siobhan and James married under a beautiful blue sky at the Toronto Hunt Club. Siobhan's Jenny Packham dress from White Toronto was the most stunning gown I have ever seen. She takes my breath away.

Once a year High Park is abloom with white cottony goodness. For a sliver of April these beautiful Cherry Blossoms come alive and attract hundreds of visitors.
Last friday I had the pleasure of walking through this white wonderland with the beautiful Katie and her sweet handsome Matthew. I share with you today a lovely portrait of this couple under the Cherry Blossoms.
I could lay for hours under these pillows of cotton candy listening to All is Full of Love by Bjork. Years ago at summer camp I would lay on the front lawn watching the white puffy clouds move slowly through the bright blue sky with that song on repeat.
All is full of love. Can you feel it?

we are delighted to offer our couples the most beautifully crafted albums. each one of our books are handmade using the finest archival museum grade materials. luxurious japanese silk and swiss ribbon in many colour combinations. We have been using Cypress Albums since we started documenting wedding celebrations. And there is no end in sight! They are SIMPLY beautiful.

dear blog readers... are you still there? my sincere apologies for not spending more time with you lately. our young family (emerson is now 4.5 months) has been busy busy busy... and RWP too. we have recently moved into a new big & beautiful studio space on the fourth floor of 9 Davies Ave. we can't wait to show you pictures... a few more final touches first.
april will bring more consistent posts from me as i get back on track. i can't wait. there is something about having a busy family life... it makes me go into creative overdraft. i have so many things to share with you.

My wonderful friend and kick a** Second Photographer, Melanie, is getting married to her sweet Glenn this March. I am delighted to be Melanie's wedding photographer. To give back to her all of the love she has given to me and my company since it's beginning 4 years ago. I am a little chocked up actually... I hope I don't cry too much during the big day!
The three of us went out a week ago to get a few photographs of them in their neighborhood. A little pre-wedding shoot to get warmed up (I highly recommend an Engagement Session for all of my clients... it's so important to feel comfortable in front of the camera and with each other in order to get beautiful images).
